Clydesdale MSP, Aileen Campbell welcomed Carmichael Primary School to the Scottish Parliament on Thursday 10 May.
During their visit to the parliament the Primary 4- 7 pupils had a tour of the building, watched First Minister’s Questions and met their local MSP Aileen Campbell.
Commenting, Aileen Campbell said:
“I really enjoyed meeting pupils from Carmichael Primary School today and I was pleased they had the opportunity to come and see the parliament and watch First Minister’s Questions.
“I think it is important children have the chance to learn about democracy and how it works in Scotland, and these visits are a great way to do this.
“The pupils certainly had some interesting questions for me – they must have been inspired by First Minister’s Questions.”
