| Campbell Invites Constituents to ‘Take Tea With Your MSP’: Summer Surgeries to be held in Local Hotels and Coffee Shops - w/b Monday 19th July |

Aileen Campbell, SNP MSP for South of Scotland, has announced a summer surgery programme with a difference. Constituents in the region will be invited to meet with Aileen to discuss any concerns or issues they have in hotels, cafés and coffee shops across the area, rather than usual venues of local and community halls. The first round of surgeries will take place in Leadhills, Crawford, Douglas, Abington, Coulter, Coalburn, Braidwood, Carnwath, Newbigging and Forth, and are open to all residents of the South of Scotland region during the week beginning Monday 19th July. Commenting, Aileen Campbell MSP: “The summer recess means as an MSP I can spend more time in the region I represent, speaking to local people and doing things a bit differently. “Usually I’d hold surgeries in community halls, but the idea of visiting local hotels and coffee shops will maybe encourage folk to come along to something a bit more informal, as well as supporting local businesses during these tough economic times. “People are welcome to stop by for a cuppa if they are passing, but anyone who wants to make an appointment for a specific time, or for a meeting outside of scheduled surgeries, can call my office on 08456 026 076.”
