
| Campbell Welcomes Law Residents to Parliament |

Aileen Campbell, SNP MSP for South of Scotland, welcomed a group of residents from Law to the Scottish Parliament recently for a tour of the building and to watch First Minister’s Questions. The group had the chance to learn more about the Holyrood building and the daily work of Parliament, as well as another lively exchange of views between the First Minister, Alex Salmond, and other party leaders. Commenting, Aileen Campbell MSP said: “I was delighted to welcome the group from Law to Holyrood. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and it was a bright sunny day when the the building always looks its best. “The Scottish Parliament is designed to be as open and accessible as possible, and I’m always happy to help arrange visits for South of Scotland residents. “Anyone interested can contact my office on 0131 348 6708 or the Parliament’s visitor services directly on 0131 348 5200.” Jim Wright, well-known Law resident who was part of the group added: “The group very much enjoyed their visit to the Scottish Parliament, and we are grateful to Aileen for taking time to show us round. “For many of the group it was their first visit to the Holyrood building and we were all impressed both with the architecture, and with the theatre of First Minister’s Questions.”
