SNP Support Forth's Little Haven

The SNP's Westminster Candidate for Lanark and Hamilton East, Clare Adamson, MSP Aileen Campbell and Cllrs George Sutherland and Ian Gray joined Forth residents at the Little Haven’s craft exhibition.

The exhibition showcased the work of service users of the facility and included beautiful hand made jewellery, paperwork, crochet and corsages.

Also on display were pictures from the Little Haven showcasing the other events that it runs for people who attend the centre.

Commenting on the exhibition and the work of the Little Haven, Clare Adamson, SNP Candidate for Lanark and Hamilton East said:

“It was excellent to see all the work of the user groups.  All the jewellery and crafts were of such a high standard and were well worthy of display.  Having chatted to those who volunteer at and use the Little Haven, I know how important it is and commend the excellent work that they do.  I was so glad of the opportunity to learn more about this wonderful community led centre.”

Aileen Campbell MSP said:

“I was delighted to attend this event organised by the Little Haven.  I know how much hard work is put in by the volunteers and know how appreciated it is by those who use this first class centre.   Jessie Griffin and her team are to be congratulated by how much the Little Haven has grown through the years and how they’ve managed to bring so much comfort to those suffering from cancer.”

Cllr George Sutherland said:

“Being one of the councillors for this area, I am always keen to support the work of the Little Haven in Forth.  Since I was elected, I have been incredibly impressed by the hard work and dedication of those at the Little Haven and they can always count on my support for their future endeavours.”

Cllr Ian Gray said:

“I’ve been involved with the Little Haven from the very start and am proud to see the way Jessie and her team have made it grow.  It offers such an important service and I know it is appreciated by everyone in Forth and those from much further a field who use its services.  The display was a wonderful showcase of the talents of the users.”
