Aileen Campbell, SNP MSP for South of Scotland, is encouraging schools in the South of Scotland to enter Viridor’s ‘Recycling for Scotland’ Christmas Card competition. 

The company is offering schools the opportunity to design their official Christmas card, which will be printed on recycled material, and sent across Scotland. 

The winning entry will receive £500 of recycling equipment or book tokens for their school and personal prize of a Nintendo DSi, with prizes also on offer for second and third place.

Commenting on the competition, Aileen Campbell MSP said:

“It is a great way for pupils to think about how we can all recycle and do our bit for the environment, while also having some fun by showing off their artistic talent.”

“I wish all school children the best of luck and hope someone from the local area wins the Christmas Card competition.”
