Ms Campbell joined representatives of New Lanark’s Village Group and other civic dignitaries for the service, which included a wreath-laying at the Village’s war memorial.
Commenting, Aileen Campbell MSP said: "Remembrance Sunday is a time for us all to reflect and remember the sacrifices made by servicemen and women both past and present. "I was honoured to be asked by New Lanark’s Village Group to take part in the service and lay a wreath in remembrance of those who have given their lives for this country. "Services like Sunday’s at New Lanark give members of our communities from every generation the chance to recognise and pay tribute to the duty and commitment of our service personnel and veterans. “On this Remembrance Sunday in particular we acknowledge the continuing bravery of our service men and women, and the sacrifices they continue to make on our behalf."
